About
The emergence, adoption, and ubiquity of advanced sensing technologies offer exciting new possibilities for advanced sensing and actuation applications. Such that, people can get the right information, and obtain the appropriate services at the right or desired time through the advanced sensing technologies. The main theme of this workshop is to discuss the latest technologies and applications for advanced Sensing, Networking and Control for sense-based networks. It is to say, according to the functional requirements of applications, the links among devices can be connected or disrupted, or link flow can be changed for some kind of networking and information transmission, through human or device sensing, analyzing and processing the related information data by techniques of sensor, radar, visible light, infrared etc. The sense-based network can be sensor network, the integrated network of heterogeneous wired and wireless systems, fixed network, mobile network, or other kind of network. In order to achieve the required levels of services, the control techniques are necessary to be developed to optimize the network operations.
In recent years, many companies and research agencies have started working on the next generation of the captioned networks. They can be used in many areas, such as, disaster management, internet of things, navigation, inter-planetary information transmission, energy management, intelligent transportation and traffic engineering, warehouse management, healthcare delivery, military, and manufacturing.
